Dag Dyrdal is Managing Director of Business for Peace Foundation. He is also Principal and Founder of Montalban AS, an independent advisory firm helping institutional investors, asset managers and corporate clients with advice on strategy, investments and reputation.
From 2009 through 2012 he served as Chief Strategic Relations Officer and Global Head of External Relations at Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), the manager of Norway’s $1 tn Government Pension Fund Global. At NBIM, he was a member of the senior management team and built up the department for external relations in the wake of the financial crisis. He is now a member of the Advisory Board of the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute.
Mr Dyrdal’s previous experience includes management positions in international business and consulting. Prior to joining NBIM, he co-founded and was the CEO of a London-based, award-winning analytics firm with patented technology. He also co-founded a quantitative trading boutique, using proprietary methodologies.
